The new Leeds East Airport, formerly RAF Church Fenton, put on an excellent air show this year for a small regional field, and on I hope will grow in strength over the new few years.
There was an interesting and varied flying display, including Vulcan XH558 in her final season. A sound that is more than a sound – your lungs dancing to the visceral roar of her engines, sound become flesh. Images don’t do justice, but here they are nonetheless.
