Portfolio – Yorkshire’s forgotten Cold War Landscape

A set of images of former Royal Observer Corps underground monitoring posts, capturing the feelings and emotions of the artist when he visited the sites in 2012.

Exhibited in collaboration with English Heritage in the York Cold War Bunker in October 2012 along with oral history from the former occupants of some of the posts. A very  poignant memorial to the unsung work they performed diligently until the Corps was  stood down in 1991.
